Reccomendation

To whom it may concern,

My name is Andrea Davis, and I know Autumn Mulle from my time working at Starbucks in downtown Chicago. I worked for Starbucks a total of eight years, and I met Autumn when I was in my sixth year. Autumn was hired as a barista, and I was her shift supervisor/manager for almost two years.

My interaction with Autumn began with me administering her training, which not only included how to make beverages and ring up customers, but also entailed a considerable amount of cleaning, split-second decisions, multi-tasking, and responding to unsavory customers/homeless people. I have worked with dozens of baristas over my time at Starbucks, and I can honestly say that Autumn was one of the easiest people to train. She learned extremely fast, asked lots of questions, responded well to critique, and was always willing to do whatever task I gave her. Not only did she learn the job quickly, she excelled at becoming proficient, and became one of the strongest baristas on my crew.

Beyond doing the tasks of her job well, Autumn was also punctual, had a good attitude, and was able to handle the stress of the job with ease. She consistently demonstrated a cheerful demeanor, a firm yet professional presence towards unsavory people, and worked well with her coworkers. While she was on the quiet side, her coworkers respected her and would follow her example. To that extent, if I hadn’t known that Autumn was seeking to follow her career elsewhere, I would have recommended her for a promotion. She demonstrated the kind of work ethic that a supervisor must have in order to do the job successfully. Her work ethic is unlike most that I come across, for she is the exact opposite of lazy. I never had to remind her of her job, for she was always moving, always finding more to do, and was consistently exceeding my expectations in relation to her job performance.

I am deeply confident that Autumn will exceed any expectation given to her, for she is both one of the hardest-working people I’ve known, and also one of the most pleasant. I would highly recommend her for any job, and would gladly answer any further questions if needed.
